Kisha Zullo, MBA, CMP, President
Kisha is an entrepreneur and women empowerment leader. She is a certified meeting professional (CMP) with over 24 years of experience in the hospitality industry in both sales and event management. Born and raised in Jamaica, West Indies, she was taught by her mother the values of integrity, hard work, kindness and discipline. She is the founder and president of Events of Joy, an event planning company focused on helping clients produce events that support their company mission.
She is the founder of the Women in Business Summit (WIB Summit). Celebrating its 15th year in May 2020, WIB Summit is a one-day conference with a mission to develop a community of strong female leaders by providing quality programming and resources in an environment that promotes learning. Each year the event supports a local charity with in-kind and/or cash donations.
As a member and past president of the Meeting Professionals International Connecticut River Valley Chapter, she mentored young professionals interested in the event planning field. She is a member of the Nashawannuck Pond steering committee and volunteers to support the health and beauty of the pond. She was honored to receive the 2019 “Super S.T.A.R.” Award from Sisters Transforming and Rising.
She also enjoys enriching the lives of women as a Mary Kay Independent Beauty Consultant and is building a fast-growing team of ambitions entrepreneurs who want to leave a legacy for their families and community.
A professional with many interests she enjoys spending time surrounded by friends and family above all.
